Depp até se tornou um símbolo sexual.Estreou como diretor em 1997, no filme "O Bravo".Depp aprecia muito guitarras, até possui uma coleção. Quando jovem chegou a desistir da escola para ser guitarrista, até surgir o interesse pela interpretação. Seu primeiro papel foi no primeiro filme da Hora do Pesadelo.O ator é famoso por seus papéis em filmes como: Piratas do Caribe, Era uma vez no México, A Fantástica Fábrica de Chocolate, Don Juan deMarco, Edward Mãos-de-Tesoura e muitos outros filmes.
