John Charles Carter, conhecido como Charlton Heston, nasceu em Evanston no dia 4 de outubro de 1923 e faleceu em 5 de abril de 2008 em Beverly Hills (Los Angeles). O ator sofria desde 2002 com uma doença degenerativa similar ao Mal de Alzheimer. C. Heston é famoso por seus papéis heróicos em filmes como "Os Dez Mandamentos", "Ben Hur" e "El Cid".O primeiro filme que levou o ator ao destaque foi "O Maior Espetáculo da Terra" de 1952. O filme era ambientado no mundo do circo. A partir de então Charlton decolou na carreira de ator.

He suffered since 2002 from a disease similar to the Alzheimer Syndrome.He is famous for playing heroes in lots of great productions like "The Ten Commandments", "Ben Hur" and "El Cid".The 1st film that led him to the top was "The Greatest Show on Earth" in 1952. The film was about the world of circus. From that moment on he took off on his career.
